So.. I was having my usual lessons today. OH WAIT ! Did I mention that I've already started my university classes at Lasalle ?
To begin with, ORD LO ! A little late on the updates, but well, it's better late than never right ? My ORD date was 2nd August 2013 and guess what ? I started school on 5th August 2013. If you're wondering how crazy that sounds, I'm really not surprise. Cause I find it so myself too ! Turns out, it isn't that bad after all. 3rd week, almost 4th and I'm still surviving.
One thing I had to rant about is the curriculum timing. MY LESSONS ARE AT 2 PM OR AFTER, except for Wednesday ad Thursdays. BUT THEN, the lesson on these 2 days ends at 8 PM. How awesome that sounds ? Haha! Well, at least I have super hyped up and fun classmates to go through the 3 years with. NO COMPLAINS. Speaking about classmates, I only have 6 people in my class including me of course, and all of them are guys. As if my 2 years of army's sausage feast wasn't enough. Where have the girls all gone to?!
Come to think of it. Girls ? Hah ! Not important, cause I've found mine. Celebrated our first month anniversary just 4 days ago. Well you might think it's so cliche and all celebrating such events (Which was the mentality I had last time), but when you fall in love or really love some one so much, you would want to celebrate any or every occasion you can!
Feeling really happy today because my baby came to find me during break times for lunch. Some how my day became less gloomy and the thought/stress on all the assignments and test vanish! (Baby, this is for you. I know you had a very bad day today. But well, let's move on shall we? Bury the bad ones under and let's make nice ones together. No matter what happens, always remember I'm here for you always. So don't worry too much! Take it all as stepping stones, because I always believe you are made to accomplish BIGGER things.)

Baby I will wait for you.
I never felt nothing in the world like this before
Now Im missing you and Im wishing
You would come back through my door, ooh
Why did you have to go? You could've let me know
So now Im all alone
Now Im missing you and Im wishing
You would come back through my door, ooh
Why did you have to go? You could've let me know
So now Im all alone
Girl, you could have stayed but you wouldnt give me a chance
With you not around its a little bit more than I can stand, ooh
And all my tears they keep running down my face
Why did you turn away?
With you not around its a little bit more than I can stand, ooh
And all my tears they keep running down my face
Why did you turn away?
So why does your pride make you run and hide
Are you that afraid of me?
But I know its a lie what you keep inside
This is not how you want it to be
Are you that afraid of me?
But I know its a lie what you keep inside
This is not how you want it to be
So baby, I will wait for you
'Cause I dont know what else I can do
Dont tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life
'Cause I dont know what else I can do
Dont tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life
Baby, I will wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just aint true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do, Ill wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just aint true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do, Ill wait for you
Been a long time since you called me
(How could you forget about me?)
(How could you forget about me?)
You gotta be feeling crazy
How can you walk away, everything stays the same
I just cant do it baby
I just cant do it baby
What will it take to make you come back?
Girl, I told you what it is and it just aint like that
No, why cant you look at me? Youre still in love with me
Dont leave me crying
Girl, I told you what it is and it just aint like that
No, why cant you look at me? Youre still in love with me
Dont leave me crying
Baby, why cant we just, just start over again?
Get it back to the way it was
If you give me a chance I can love you right
But youre telling me it wont be enough
Get it back to the way it was
If you give me a chance I can love you right
But youre telling me it wont be enough
So baby, I will wait for you
'Cause I dont know what else I can do
Dont tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life
'Cause I dont know what else I can do
Dont tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life
Baby, I will wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just aint true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do, Ill wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just aint true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do, Ill wait for you
So why does your pride make you run and hide
Are you that afraid of me?
But I know its a lie what youre keeping inside
That is not how you want it to be
Are you that afraid of me?
But I know its a lie what youre keeping inside
That is not how you want it to be
Baby, I will wait for you
Baby, I will wait for you
If its the last thing I do
Baby, I will wait for you
If its the last thing I do
Baby, I will wait for you
'Cause I dont know what else I can do
Dont tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life
'Cause I dont know what else I can do
Dont tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life
Baby, I will wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just aint true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do, Ill wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just aint true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do, Ill wait for you
Ill be waiting

Properties.
It feels so exciting to be moving to a new location, or rather to see new houses. I always love to visit the open house of new properties that are coming up, because I'll get to see awesomely designed showrooms that beautifies my day instantly. It gives me some ideas on how I want my future room to look like! Than I'll be happily planning out in my mind where to place my furniture and all.
Some how, I find it a dreadful thing recently, especially the period of purchasing a property. It all draws down to one reason, CRITERIA. I don't know about you guys, but I'm always taught that we can't have the best of both world. So if we have the best on the side, the other we'll have to compensate at least. To go through the web page that has at least 100 different properties is tiring enough already, I have to filter off one by one just to fit given criteria still. I ain't complaining about the fact that I have to filter because we have at least a certain expectation when finding a house, but more of the amount of things I have to take note when filtering.
...Examples are...
Let's talk about good location. Common sense will tell you that good location comes with a certain price true enough? Who in the right mind will sell a good location cheap?
The house should be partially furnished if the price is reasonable so there is no need to spend on major renovation. If the house is not partially done up, the price must be low so we can do a major renovation. Up to this point, I'm still ok with everything.
Next is accessibility. Must be easy to travel around and bus stops within walking distances. Nearby Mrt as well. This is where it hits my first line of tolerance. When I find a property near an MRT station which is walking distance to it, I get feedback saying the MRT movement will be noisy. So eventually I find one that is located a little further in, but near bus stops to the MRT. Yet again, I get feedback saying it's quiet, travelling back home at night is dangerous.
Than next we look at the unit's level/floor. Low floor is a definite no because just in case there's an event going under the void deck, it'll be a disturbance. So fine, I'll filter out low and focus on the highs. Common sense again, the price for high floors are naturally steeper than the lows.
Next we go in to common corridor VS door to door. This touches on privacy. So the preferred one is more privacy, which means it's a door to door kind of layout.
So with a good location + high floor + partially furnished + good accessibility + more privacy. Just looking at all these criteria, it's like the best of 5 worlds! To be honest, I don't think with all this criteria taken in to consideration, to find a house that is "cheap and reasonable".
Headache.

Jersey Boys !
Caught this musical twice and I'm not bored of it even though I went for the second time. The music was simply fabulous! I did not watch the Broadway cast for this, but was blown away by the SA Cast that performed this musical in Singapore already. They brought my appreciation of music back in the 80s to another level.
Presenting, the SA Cast for Jeresey Boys in Singapore! From Left to Right :
Bob Guadio whom was portrayed by Kenneth Meyer. He was the one whom sang December 1963 ( What A Night ), one of my favorite songs in the musical. He has this super sexy bass tone in his voice that is really pleasant to hear.
Tommy DeVito whom was portrayed by Daniel BΓΌys. Another amazing singer I must say. He's really friendly and also super charismatic as well. As for his character in the musical, he's the "bad" person out of the 4 of em. A Gambler having excessive debts yet to pay off.
Frank Valli whom was portrayed by Grant Almirall. When I hear him sing, it's simply just mind blowing. The octaves he reached to mimic the character of Frank Valli were stunning! I was amazed by how he's able to last through the 2 hours musical singing Frank Valli's range. It's not easy, guess it was hard work paid off for him.
Nick Massi whom was portrayed by Emmanuel Castis. His character in the musical was a joker. Couldn't stop laughing at the part whereby he kept emphasizing on his gut feeling of starting his own band.
Last but not least..
A picture with the cast of Jersey Boys ! Awesome peeps, singing amazingly, putting up a spectacular musical..
Those whom haven't watch the musical, what are you waiting for? The show is coming to an end in 3 days! Do catch them before it ends, i assure it's worth 2 hours of your time there watching them perform.

Les Miserables
Caught this show yesterday in theaters and I must say, it's fabulous. Comparing with the musical version, I would say both are equally nice. I don't know why the movie version made me tear more, probably because it's more visually realistic. I ain't gonna blog about the story here, but just gonna single out a few characters I find super influential to me.
Firstly Marius Pontmercy whom was played by Eddie Redmayne. I personally find that he portrayed this role better compared to the musical one some how. Personal preference yo! Anyway, the character Marius was so different from the book. Of course I preferred the musical and theater version more, because in the book he is cruel and shrewd. He was rather romantic and gentle. One of the best male lead role in a romance story you can ever get I suppose.
Another character that I find super influential is Fantine whom was played by Anna Hathaway. If you've watched disney channel's princess diaries OR the dark knight rises, you'll know who is she. Fantine is the mother of Cosette. I admire her sacrifice and courage to become a prostitute just to earn money for medicine to save her ill daughter.
The last character is non other than Jean Valjean whom was played by Hugh Jackman. Wolverine from x-men sums up who he is. It's quite difficult to put how much I admire this character in words. You've got to catch the movie to be able to understand!
