Christmas Eve..

Today is an awesome day for me! Woke up early in the morning feeling charged and ready for a matinee show of the musical, WICKED. There is only one word that I can use to describe the show, FANTABULOUS! It's really one inspirational and touching musical! Those out there whom haven't watch it, I would really encourage you to grab your tickets from sistic and experience it at Marina Bay Sands Theater yourself! Because once the show ends, you gotta fly to New York's Broadway to watch it.

Speaking about Broadway, I'm planning to visit New York for a few days, just to indulge myself with purely Broadway Musicals! Prolly will do it during the summer vacations when I'm studying in states 2 years later.


on a more personal note..
After the show, it was DIDM Annual Christmas Party! Nevertheless, with these peeps around, we can laugh at/about anything under the sun. This year's gathering is rather simple and sweet due to the time constrains we had. But we had fun indeed no matter what!

i'm back once again.

It's been 5 weeks of army life and I must say, I'm enjoying it. Great platoon and Awesome bunk mates! BMTC life can never get boring with them around.

CPOP once again..

Some how I got this feeling Cpop will come alive once again.. I never felt so emotionally affected by any other shows except Taiwan Dramas. There are also some Hong Kong Dramas too, but mostly are Taiwan though. Just completed watching the show 不良笑花(Miss No Good) by Raine Yang and Wilber Pan. I must say, it's quite a hilarious yet emotional show at the same time. Watch it, and you'll know what I mean.

the 90s

Listening back to all songs recorded and produced in the 90s. It's still the best after so many years. A good song comes with catchy rhythm and meaningful lyrics. Not only that, it must also be remembered several years down the road. That's the definition of a good, well, at least to me. :) Till today, I'm still listening to songs produced in the 90s.

one of my favorites, "At the Beginning" sung by Richard Marx and Donna Lewi. This song was produced in the year 1997. Some of you might find it familiar if you watched the american animated musical film, Anastasia. Yes, this song is from the movie.

vocals !

what have I been doing at home the past few days? Basically, watching dramas after dramas! Not forgetting practicing my singing as well.. Found this really nice song to sing after watching the show called  醉后决定爱上你(Love You) by Raine Yang and Joseph Chang. Story is about the 2 strangers whom got rejected from their respective boyfriend/girlfriend on the same day. They met and concluded that the only way to make themselves feel better was to get very drunk. The next day waking up from their slumber to find themselves married to each other. Here, the story begins having them to undo whatever they've did in that past 24hours while they were drunk.

It's a really hilarious and touching drama. Ok wait, not really much of touching, but hilarious.. There are some parts of the show that are tear trigger. So those whom easily tear while watching romantic dramas (looks at myself in the mirror), well.. you might just want to prepare some tissues beside. Haha!

I'm back !

oh my god, once again I abandoned my blog. Recently have been spending a lot of time practicing vocals during my free time at home. Recording cover plans made and will be starting real soon. Will post it up on my youtube page once my team and I are done with it. I just can't wait for the covers to be recorded, edited and posted up. Gonna intend to add them in to my portfolio once it's done! Haha.

So anyway, was browsing youtube and watching covers of different people online. Ever heard of this guy named Joseph Vincent? also known as J.V in short. Portfolio

Haven't been blogging the past few days because of my portfolio. Trying to finish it up by this weekend and hope good news will come in return for me..

Ok, i shall blog properly tomorrow. My mind is in a mess now after completing like 50pages essay like writing. Going for my haircut tomorrow, like finally huh? Getting really sick of this out of place gold hair already. It looks cool at first, but it started looking weirder once my hair starts to grow longer.

another new toy !

I really do not know how to describe how I feel now, at all. To the extend that I thought I'm still stuck in my dream!

woke up early this morning having my mum greeting me with scrumptious breakfast! It started off my day with a blast of course. Then came my dad arriving at the doorstep. He's back from Philippines! Bought so many things back.. Dinner in the evening with my parents and granny at Amk Hub. Dined at Dian Xiao Er, the herbal duck and XO fried rice was awesomely delicious I must say! Sadly, I forgot to take a photo of the food because I was too engross harvesting my Smurf's Village game on my phone.

Speaking about phone............. Say hello to my new toy No.2 ! Iphone 4 white 32GB.

Fishing for $5 !

All of you heard of prawning, but check this out ! You can also fish now and it's only for $5 ! Location wise, it's at punggol but I do not really know what's the exact road name. One thing I do know is that, it's the same prawning company at Bishan, Sim ming ave. It's called Hai Bin if i'm not wrong.

my new toy.

Dad gave me 3 surprises early this morning before he flew off to Philippines for work.. Bet most of you already know what's the first surprise, because I've already instagram it earlier today. Well, yes! It's a new mobile phone he bought and it came with a new telephone number.. Actually it's my army phone though haha.. Thought of getting one myself from 7-11, a $99 phone without camera to survive my army times. Now I have a phone that can surf the net, msn, skype and even twitter when in camp!

oh. almost forgot, the model he bought was HTC Snap ~

photography trip 1

back from a super awesome photography trip with krystl and SJ. The day started out with me being late in meeting Krystl for lunch at Amk Central Popeyes. Well, I was on the way to meet her and realized I forgot to bring my wireless remote for my camera, so headed back get it. Sorry! >.< So anyway, after meeting up with her for lunch, we took a train down to clark quay because I had to go collect my SAE Audio Diploma Certificate!

So after collecting my cert, we wanted to head down to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. The both of us had trouble finding the correct bus to our destination, so we were wandering around clark quay. In the end we gave up, took a train to outram and cab to the railway station.

The place was really run down, but an awesome spot for photography shoots. Sadly we were not allowed to go on to the railway tracks because the station was still in operation.

Spent almost 2 hours there trying to capture as many shots as we can before heading down to cityhall to meet SJ. Dinner at Aston Specialties, suntec basement. The dinner was really filling till we didn't want to move afterwards, haha! After dinner, we headed to esplanade and helix bridge to capture some night shots before heading home after a long day walk!

a new day, a new week.

Family gathering was rather fun yesterday night :) awesome food, superb mahjong session. What more can I ask for? Sadly, my camera wasn't with me so I was unable to take photos. For main course there was like longhouse prawn noodle, thai fried noodles and also basil meat with rice! As for dessert, Red Bean Soup! The most exciting part has yet to come.. Mahjong! actually it's like a weekly routine, but because of the amount I won yesterday made the game really exciting haha.


So anyway, that was yesterday. Spent my time at home today with mum and dad watching hong kong drama. Long time since we've did this together. Or should I say long time since I've spent time with them..? Basically the upcoming weeks are gonna be spent with them before i enlist in to army. Started making plans for my future and on going discussions with my parents. Well, I thought they would be against my idea, but amazingly they agreed to it.

Sergeant Yeo !

Yesterday evening, headed to PLC Camp at jurong with Zisheng to watch the parade of our newly promoted sergeant buddy, Yeo Kai Xiang. The weather was freaking awesome I must say. When I say freaking awesome, there was sarcasm in it. We were perspiring throughout the parade. Well, it was worth it though, at least we were there to watch him get promoted! :) Congrats dude~
